Swimming pool
The roof top pool deck is open year round and the pool is heated and usable from May to Oct. Residents can enjoy water aerobics classes or just a nice dip. Shade trellises over the pool and upper deck area allow enjoyment of the outdoors with beautiful views of the mountains, city skyline and Truckee River during even the hottest part of a summer day.
Beauty Salon/Garden Room
The salon serves both men and women, providing hair and manicure/pedicure services for an additional fee and is located just off our beautiful “garden” room. The “garden” room is a wonderful setting for social gatherings, board games or an afternoon bridge party.
Spa
Our indoor hot tub is located off the Garden Room and provides complete privacy and relaxation and includes a restroom, shower and locker room.
Security
Promenade has a state-of-the-art fire, security and resident emergency alert system in every villa apartment. (Personal Resident emergency alert pendants also available)
Fitness Facilities
The fitness center is complete with exercise machines (recumbent bike, treadmill, hand weights) a full walking track and Circuit Training classes weekly.
Library
Our “loft”-library is comfortable and relaxing, where natural light provides an atmosphere of quiet enjoyment, and residents can enjoy a game of cards or just reading a good book.
Culinary Facilities
The bistro, also known as Cafe Portofino, is the venue for Breakfast and cooking demonstrations as well as private parties. Nearby is the Art Studio, and Movie Theater.
Art Studio
Our art studio is available for residents to dabble in everything from painting to basket weaving and creating holiday decorations. A sewing machine and ironing board are also available for use at any time. Classes held weekly.
The Atrium
The atrium hosts a variety of activities including concerts, social gatherings, discussions, reading or just enjoying the peacefulness and natural light that filters in from above. Visit the Coffee/Tea Bar and enjoy the daily newspapers provided by Promenade.
River Lounge
The intimate River Lounge overlooking the Truckee River, is where residents play Bridge, Pinochle, Cribbage and other games, enjoy private dining with family and friends or simply take in the sights of the River and downtown.
